At Vialumina, we have developed a fuel agnostic mobility management system, connecting drivers and vehicles – and in cases where it is relevant: Charging stations and the electrical grid. This means we bring the power of data into the hands of fleet owners and operators across the world. Our current product portfolio consists of digital products supported by telematics.

Vialumina means ‘the illuminated road’, and through collection and visualization of actionable fleet data, we enlighten companies to achieve significant cost savings and increase their operational up-time while also reducing their carbon footprint. We are the answer to ‘HOW’ to optimize and decarbonize commercial fleets.

We’re currently seeking a Lead Engineer to join our tech team. The thing is, you will be our first Lead Engineer ever and we expect you to be a person with a pragmatic attitude wanting to build the next massive thing within mobility together with us. You know how to balance strategic thinking with rolling your sleeves up to get things done.

Responsibilities:

While we know the role of a Lead Engineer varies from company to company – here are some of the responsibilities you can expect:

• Responsibility to manage, prioritize and follow up our product roadmap
• Responsibility for sprint planning and daily standups with the team
• Manage a team of developers working on our cloud based platform and our app
• Report to our CTO

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience within software development
• A demonstrated history of leading product development teams
• Background as a full stack developer: Linux, NodeJS, Python, MongoDB, NoSQL, Azure, Azure DevOps, Databricks
• Experience from working with web technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS, HTML, CSS
• Fluency in Swedish and English, any other language is a bonus
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• A will to build positive, lasting relationships

And it would be a great plus, but not a must, if you also have:

• Experience from working in both large-scale companies as well as startups
• Experience from an agile work environment
• Experience from mobility, EV (Electric Vehicle) Charging Services, Energy Management, Energy Markets, or other fields related to our business
• Experience in communication solutions as MQTT, OCPP, OCPI
• Experience with frameworks like React, Angular and Webpack
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure
• Familiarity with Kubernetes in a cloud setting (Azure or AWS)
• A demonstrated history of deep understanding of how to translate customer needs into product innovation
